Xeriscape Landscaping
With the dry, hot climate of Central Texas, one of the most common planting concepts that we use is Xeriscape landscaping. Xeriscape is a landscape option that conserves water and requires less maintenance.
This is achieved through instinctive planning and design, good use of turf areas vs hardscapes, efficient and effective watering. In addition, this is done through soil improvements, the use of mulches, and the use of native or adaptive plants that require little watering. For those who do a great deal of traveling or want something easier to maintain, this is the ultimate low maintenance landscaping solution. We have extensive knowledge and experience with design options that both meet these criteria and are beautiful and pleasing aesthetically as well.
Xeriscape Water Conservation
This xeriscape landscaping project in Dripping Springs helps to conserve water. In addition, it provides a beautiful walkway from the circle drive to the backyard.
LOW Maintenance
The owners of this property in Austin wanted a landscape that required less maintenance. We did this by removing the turf in the front and back yard and replacing it with basalt gravel and concrete pavers. Mission accomplished!
Xeriscape Landscaping Project
For this xeriscape project, we started by removing all of the turf on the side yard. Then, we replaced it with a flagstone steppingstone path. Also, we added a dry creek bed and mulched gardens.
